You are missed in Atlanta.I had catconted you a number of times to see if you could help us publicize blood drives. You explained that you don't control the stories you can cover and passed my info to Steve Schwaid and he did cover a story when we delivered hundreds of stuffed Beau the Bloodhound (our mascot) to children undergoing treatment (mostly cancer) at local hospitals.I had catconted Steve after you announced your departure. I had wanted to do a special blood drive in YOUR honor which would serve two purposes HONORING YOU, of course but also generating more interest in blood donation in Atlanta. We are a non-profit and depend on the generosity of the media to get the word out . Steve recently posted a story with pictures on the CBS Atlanta website when the Dunwoody Police Department won a blood donor challenge against Sandy Springs.I really wish you were still here. I'm looking forward to finding out when you next hit the airwaves maybe I can watch via Internet.My best to you you are in my prayers.Michael
